Studienkreis
More than a million students owe their successful school grades to Studienkreis (Study Circle). The tutoring institute focuses on effective teaching, singly or in small groups. It not only provides learning materials but also delivers essential learning skills. Rhineland TÜV has certified the institute—a testament to the quality and effectiveness of its pedagogical concept.
Background
Studienkreis is one of the biggest commercial tutoring institutes in Germany, with around 1,000 locations. In an effort to further raise its profile and awareness levels as experts in all things tutoring, the educational institute instigated a nationwide press and online media campaign with the creative support of rheinfaktor.
Strategy
rheinfaktor based the Studienkreis press campaign around a survey on current educational topics. Thought-provoking questions were designed to draw attention to Studienkreis. The surveys were accompanied by helpful press articles to underline the competence of Studienkreis. On top of this rheinfakor also organized a charity auction, where Studienkreis gave away tutoring vouchers to a total value of over 100,000 Euros
Result
These messages resonated strongly—the charity auction was reported on in high circulation publications and very well received by the parents of school children. The other press activity also yielded positive results: Studienkreis was comprehensively positioned as a competent resource in educational matters.
